EcoProducts Foundation
The establishment of the EcoProducts Foundation serves as a platform for implementing non-profit initiatives in regions where baobab fruit is harvested. Beyond directly procuring fruit from rural harvesters, the Foundation actively engages in various endeavours, including supporting early childhood education, cultivating baobab trees, research initiatives, and fostering community involvement.
The Baobab Pre-School Programme goes beyond simply constructing schools; it is dedicated to providing these educational institutions with the essential resources, equipment, and infrastructure they require to thrive. By addressing the needs of these pre-schools, the programme aims to create conducive learning environments that foster holistic development among young children.
Through this programme, the EcoProducts Foundation endeavours to:
- Infrastructure Development: The Foundation invests in constructing, renovating, and improving preschool infrastructure. This includes creating safe and child-friendly spaces like classrooms, playgrounds, sanitary facilities, and other amenities.
- Provision of Resources: The Baobab Pre-School Programme ensures that the identified schools can access essential educational materials, such as books, stationery, learning aids, and educational technology tools.
- Training and Capacity Building: The Foundation organises training programs for teachers and staff members of these pre-schools.
- Community Engagement: We actively involve the local community in developing and sustaining these pre-schools. By fostering partnerships and engaging parents, caregivers, and community members, the programme seeks to create a sense of ownership, collaboration, and support for the schools.
