Method of Manufacture
Into the main vessel add:
Water: Start the mixer on a fast speed
Carbomer: Mix until lump free and homogenous
Use the homogeniser at speed 500 for 30 seconds if any lumps persist.
Into the main vessel add:
Cosphaderm® Propanediol natural: Mix until homogeneous
Start heating the main vessel to 75C – 80C.
Into the premix vessel add:
Glyceryl Stearate SE
Stearyl Alcohol
PolyAquol™ 2W: Commence heating the premix vessel to 75-80C.
When both vessels are at 75C – 80C add the premix vessel into the main vessel.
Mix and homogenise for 10 minutes.
After 5 minutes, into the main vessel add:
Cosphagard Cap
After 10 minutes commence cooling to 35C.
Stop Homogenising and continue with slow stirring only.
Into the main vessel add:
Cetpro APG 1200MB: Mix until homogeneous
The product will thicken as the APG 1200 neutralises the Carbomer
As the bulk cools & thickens, adjust the mixer speed accordingly to ensure adequate turnover but avoiding aeration.
When the bulk is at 45C into the main vessel add:
floviva Murumuru Scrub: Mix until homogeneous
Pagoda Tree Herbasol Extract: Mix until homogeneous
Cool the bulk to 23C and check the product specifications.
